LAB TECHNICIAN – GUYANA MANGANESE INC

Guyana Manganese Inc. is seeking a Lab Technician to job our team at Matthew’s Ridge region one.

REQUIREMENTS

●University Diploma or equivalent experience

● Verbal and written communication skills

● Valid laboratory technician certificate

● Computer skills, including excel, power point, and email communication

● Excellent work ethic

● Sets good example for others and promotes a positive environment

● Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and email communication

● Fluent English.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Implementation and maintenance of Laboratory Quality Management System.
• Shall be capable of performing the laboratory aspects of a job assignment with minimum supervision. The laboratory technician shall receive assignments from the Production Supervisor and Technical engineers.
• Maintain lab facilities in good condition, including maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments and for maintaining proper levels of chemical regents and supplies for inventory of laboratory.
• Systematically handle the results of all analysis, tests, and measurements, keep the records in compliance with requirements of the laboratory quality systems as applicable to the sample being analyzed.
