Learning and Development Officer
Purpose: To support the Learning & Development Manager in the effective delivery of the overall Learning & Development strategy by identifying development needs and designing, delivering and assessing Learning & Development solutions.
Principal Accountabilities include:
- Provides developmental coaching and one-to-one support, where the need has been identified, with an emphasis on Operational staff so that sales budgets are met.
- Conceptualizes and produces a training plan from the Training Needs Analysis, which informs L&D solutions that are designed and delivered to address said needs.
- Manages all ongoing aspects of the central training function, including scheduling, reporting and updating current training courses to continuously improve learning and development experiences, by integrating new methods, approaches and content.
- Sources and co-ordinates external training programmes to meet specific training needs.
- Develops and implements effective induction programmes.
Required Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or certification such as ATD.
- Two (2) years’ experience in training delivery and coaching.
- Knowledge and experience with adult instructional design and learning theory and principles.
- Experience in the design and delivery of innovative training programmes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
