Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving, unpacking, & organizing cargo according to outlined procedures. This involves labelling cargo with all necessary invoices and/or labels, and alphabetically assigning cargo to respective areas in the cargo room.
  • Ensuring the cargo area is neatly organised and tidy at all times.
  • Ensuring that cargo boxes are broken down and disposed of according to the schedule.
  • Tracking shipments using company-provided cargo software and manifests.
  • Preparing cargo for delivery and office pickup.
  • Ensuring that all cargo delivered or picked up by customers are released using available software.
  • Directly responsible for ensuring customers collect packages, and includes contacting customers to notify them of the availability of packages.
  • Support branch transfers as directed by the Team Leader and Manager, as well as delivery preparation with a high level of accuracy.

  • Knowledge of basic Mathematics.
  • Must be articulate with good writing and comprehension skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Fast learner as it is an environment with a quick pace.
  • Computer literate.
