MAINTANANCE OPERATOR – NSB OMEGA

• 3 years’ experience in shipping as a watch keeping Engine Room rating, STCW Reg. AIII/4, or EOOW STCW Reg. AIII/1 or general maintenance skills including fitting, and Coded Welding qualification.
• VLCC /Large Seagoing Vessel Engine Room or FPSO operations experience desirable.
• Medically fit to offshore International standards such as ENG1 or equivalent.
• 7 days’ week/12 hours a day.
• Offshore, busy, fast-paced work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare Engine Room and Utility Systems for start-up.
• Start and Monitor Engine Room and Utility Systems.
• Prepare and Shutdown Engine Room and Utility Systems.
• Isolate and reinstate Engine Room and Utility Systems for Maintenance.
• Carry out Planned and Unplanned Maintenance.
• Monitor and Maintain Pollution Control Measures.
• Carry out Emergency Response Role.
• Provide any additional duties as required by the OIM/Unit Spt. and /or HOD to maintain safe and efficient running of the Unit.
