Specifics about this position:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Store Manager to lead our Eccles Mini Mart operations. In this role, you will oversee inventory, manage our beverage equipment, monitor stock levels, organize staff schedules, and manage the procurement processes. Additionally, you will provide performance reports with a focus on KPIs and play a crucial role in mentoring our sales staff to exceed store targets. You should have a strong understanding of the procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiations, and inventory management. You should also have a strong background in retail management/restaurant management, a passion for customer service, and expertise in managing beverage equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, retail management, supply chain management, or a related field, OR
3 – 5 years of experience in retail store management, restaurant management, or similar positions.
In-depth understanding of inventory management, and procurement & vendor management.
Fast food handling experience, including safety protocols, quality control, etc.
Strong understanding of cashing software (Quickbooks, Group Dynamics, Peachtree, OTA, etc.)
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office suites, Google Suites, and general computer literacy.
Available fill-in for mini-mart staff on a shift system, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift 25 lbs at times.
Strong communication skills and a friendly customer service demeanor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Continuously inspect the entire store during each shift to ensure coolers, aisles, racks, and cages are adequately stocked and neatly displayed.
Maintain proper inventory levels for the mini-mart, including ongoing ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
Regularly use QuickBooks to check inventory on a shift basis, stock sheets, and requested items.
Document missing stocks, write reports with explanations, and send them off daily via email (training required for specificity).
Continuously manage and schedule staff to ensure proper coverage during all operating hours.
Continuously train and onboard new employees to develop their cashing skills on point of sales, and MMG procedures.
Ensure accurate cash handling procedures and oversee cash reconciliation processes.
Regularly prepare sales reports and provide insights to management on the business’s financial performance.
Implement marketing initiatives, promotions, and loyalty programs to attract and retain customers.
Set high standards for customer service and ensure all staff members are trained to deliver exceptional service.
Address and resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Ensure the proper functioning and regular maintenance of beverage machines and equipment.
Continuously assess beverage sales, pricing, and promotional strategies to optimize revenue, and collaborate with suppliers to enhance product quality and sourcing.

REMUNERATION/BENEFITS
Remuneration for this position is based on Experience & Qualifications:
$160,000 – $200,000 GROSS
Working Schedule:
Thursdays – Tuesdays: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm
Wednesdays: OFF
