Position: National Consultant – HEARTS Initiative
Duration of consultancy: 5 August 2022 – 5 December 2022

An opportunity exists for a short-term National Consultant to support the implementation of select activities in the EC/ACP project on Health Systems strengthening for NCDs prevention and control with a focus on the strengthening the HEARTS Initiative and development of the National Cancer Control Plan for Guyana. This consultancy is supported by the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) Guyana.
Requirements:
- Degreein Medicine, Public Health Nursing,
- Three years’ experience in public health with a focus on NCDs prevention and control
- Experience in management and coordination of public health programmes
- Practical experience in capacity building, programme planning, development, implementation, and evaluation with excellent command of English.
