DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Admin & Finance Manager the Payroll & Admin Clerk should possess excellent accounting skills, be a good communicator, and pay meticulous attention to details. The Payroll & Admin Clerk should resolve problems, improve efficiency, risk, encourage business growth, and enhance and sustain relations with department.
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in accounting, finance, or related field.
At least 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Strong math, typing, and computer skills, especially with bookkeeping software.
Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
Attention to details
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collecting and verifying timesheets.
Answering employees’ questions and concerns regarding payroll.
Calculating payable hours, commissions, bonuses, taxes, and deductions.
Issuing and delivering paychecks to employees.
Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies.
Maintaining and updating payroll records.
Preparing periodic payroll reports.
Performs administrative and clerical tasks.
Collect and verify cash handover from Truck Yard Supervisor
Balance & issue Petty Cash
Assist with booking customers’ orders and transferring same to Dispatcher.
Performs documentation of new employees and relate same to Main Office.
Collect, organize and input employees’ time-sheets into a spreadsheet daily and submit to office by 2:00 pm.
Write receipts for customers who would have made payments for services in office.
