Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, maintain accurate inventory records, verify incoming stock, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Stock Verification: Conduct cycle counts and physical stocktakes, reconcile inventory records, and coordinate with relevant departments to investigate variances.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare inventory reports, analyse inventory movements and costs, identify slow-moving or obsolete stock, and recommend process improvements.
- Compliance & Audits: Ensure adherence to inventory policies and controls, maintain accurate documentation, and support internal and external inventory audits.
- Collaboration & General Support: Work closely with Finance, Warehouse, Parts, Sales, and Purchasing teams, maintain confidentiality, and perform other inventory-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) CXC/CSEC subjects, including Mathematics and Principles of Accounts/Accounts.
- Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Inventory Management, Business Administration, or a related field would be an asset.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in inventory control, stores, warehouse, or accounting, preferably within an automotive or similar industry.
