PROCUREMENT ASSISTANT – Two2 Brothers Corporation

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive procurement assistant to support our Express Mart purchasing activities . The ideal candidate will assist in sourcing, ordering, inventory tracking, and maintaining vendor relationships to ensure our shelves are always stocked with the right products at the right time and cost.

Key Responsibilities

  • Access the POS to determine the quantity of supply needed
  • Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient through re-order levels or physical counts.
  • Consolidate purchase orders and send copies to suppliers
  • Respond to store and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
  • Perform buying duties when necessary.
  • Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other issues.
  • Review requisition to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications.
  • Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
  • Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications.
  • Verify accuracy, compare suppliers’ bills with items and purchase orders.
  • Approve bills for payment.
  • Locate suppliers, using sources such as catalogs and the internet, and interview them to gather information about products to be ordered.
  • Monitor in-house inventory movement and complete inventory transfer forms for bookkeeping purposes.
