PROJECT MANAGER – BK International Inc.

We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team! The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the building process. This role involves working closely with engineers and architects to develop plans.

·         BSc/BA in engineering, building science, or relevant field

·         A minimum of six (6) years of proven experience as a construction project manager

·         In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles

·         Familiarity with quality and health safety standards

·         Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to determine the detailed specifications of the project, ensuring alignment with the client’s requirements and industry standards.

·         Negotiate contracts with external vendors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms, ultimately aiming for profitable agreements that meet project needs.

·         Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities, navigating regulatory requirements effectively to ensure compliance and smooth project progress.

·         Determine the required resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, from project initiation to completion, while carefully managing budgetary considerations.

·         Plan all construction operations meticulously, scheduling intermediate phases to ensure timely progress and successful adherence to project deadlines.

·         Acquire necessary equipment and materials and maintain vigilant oversight of stocks to proactively address any inadequacies that may arise, ensuring uninterrupted project flow.

·         Recruit and hire contractors and other staff, assigning responsibilities effectively to build a capable and cohesive project team.

·         Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics, and other personnel, providing guidance and support as needed to maintain high-quality work standards and project efficiency.

·         Evaluate project progress comprehensively and prepare detailed reports, offering valuable insights to inform decision-making and project optimization.

·         Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety standards, promptly addressing any issues that may compromise the well-being of project personnel or the integrity of the project.
