Projectionist
DESCRIPTION
The Projectionist works at the cinema theatre making certain that film screenings go smoothly.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma
- Diploma in Digital Arts, Editing, Cinematography or related field
- Attention to detail
- Ability to Multitask well
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receiving and checking films
- Loading the films onto the projector in the right order
- Making sure the film runs smoothly through the projector
- Checking that sound is operating properly
- Storing the films safely
- Sending on the reels to other cinemas
- Looking after the projection equipment and organizing services
- Being responsible for heating, lighting, ventilation and alarm systems in the cinema
