DESCRIPTION

Looking for Dynamic Young Individuals with previous experience to fill the position of Purchase Officers.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum CSEC Pass, Diploma in Business, ABE will be given preference
Previous experience in a similar position.
Superb written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
Great organizational and planning skills.
Ability to make quick decisions.
Excellent negotiation skills.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Do phone calls to various Suppliers regarding material pricing, collate data
Compare prices & make excel sheet on materials pricing, units etc.
Issue Stock in system Software
Negotiate with Contractors for different items & prices regarding construction
Knowledge about construction materials
Local Knowledge about Guyanese Retail market
Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
