Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Department Managers, HRO and HRD to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions for lower-level roles.
- Post job openings on various platforms and coordinate with external recruitment sources when necessary.
- Review resumes, shortlist candidates, and schedule interviews.
- Conduct interviews and assess candidate suitability based on qualifications and fit for the company culture.
- Manage pre-employment processes, including reference checks, background checks, and offer letter preparation.
- Oversee the entire onboarding process, ensuring a positive and efficient transition for new hires.
- Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on staffing progress.
Requirements
- A Certificate in Human Resources Management is beneficial
- Exposure in interviewing techniques, recruitment best practices
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a recruitment or HR role.
- Proven experience with the full recruitment cycle, (job posting, selecting, and onboarding).
- Preferably with HR experience and knowledge of labor laws in Guyana
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with candidates and colleagues at all levels.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
- Proficiency with recruitment software and Microsoft Office Suites, word, excel, power point etc.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
