DESCRIPTION
Overall purpose: Provides primary and emergency health care services. He/she will assist t medical team in all aspects of medical and/or health management including medical evacuation support, COVID 19 screening, case monitoring and assessment plus various health and administrative tasks as directed by the Project Manager and Country Medical Director.
REQUIREMENTS
- Registered nurse licensed to work in Guyana
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a clinical nurse
- BLS certified
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Undertake clinical consultations and provide a high standard of service and care to patients.
- Develop and ensure continuity of patient care and appropriate follow-up and referral.
- Assist with the implementation of preventative medical care strategies, including structuring and performing medical COVID 19 screening services.
- Manage the delivery of competent and professional health services according to the company standards.
- Assist with ensuring appropriate patient triage and flow within the facility.
- Provide non-emergency and emergency medical response.
