Job Description
The position of Senior Sales Manage at Techlify is principally responsible for developing and driving sales strategies and plans that will achieve agreed-upon quarterly & yearly sales targets for Techlify products and services. The sales manager will work closely with the pre-sales, post-sales, and marketing teams to execute strategies, developing sales pipelines, identifying and closing new business opportunities, designing and delivering compelling customer presentations while streamlining the sales cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and driving sales strategies that are focused both on financial gain & customer satisfaction
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Documenting technical requirements & specifications
- Host daily, weekly and monthly team meetings to ensure effective collaboration
- Lead & direct the sales team towards continuous improvement and evaluate team performance
- Ensure the sales team is aligned with company goals and is well aware of all Techlify products & services
- Organize training sessions for the team to ensure conversion
- Responsible for identifying touch points and utilizing them to improvise sales pitches & future developments
- Will be responsible for creating a sustainable pathway for long-term sales plans
- Learning new business development techniques and exploring new sources for business
- Conduct research to understand the strategies of competitors and the surrounding market
- Analyses data and commercial trends to forecast sales activity and revenue achievement
- Create and deliver compelling customer presentations
- Work with pre-sales, post-sales, and marketing teams to support sales execution
- Identify new business opportunities
- Qualify leads and develop proposals that address customer needs
- Close sales and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of progressive experience in managing technical sales team
- Good understanding of the IT industry and its sales practices
- Must be able to increase clientele base
- Must be commercially aware of the US/ Caribbean software industry
- Must be willing to learn new things and apply new strategies in order to grow the business
- Must be able to liaison between customers and software developers
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Strong analytical and critical thinking
- Excellent knowledge of SWOT analysis & risk management
- Strong decision making & report writing skills
