DESCRIPTION
To establish the automotive line of products and develop and sell a sustainable commercial (non-household) line of business.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or Sales/any other related discipline
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a sales/retail environment with exposure to account management at a senior level.
- Excellent strategic and creative skills with emphasis on business and brand focus thinking skills
- Ability to think big, delivering innovative strategic solutions
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong budget management and leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and decision-making skills
- Good project management skills
- A team player; able to work with and influence cross-functional teams
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops the automotive portfolio and drives profitability by analyzing market trends, competition and productivity levels and develops and fast tracks plan for rapid penetration and growth.
- Develops and manages sales plans to ensure the achievement of portfolio goals/targets.
- Collaborates with the merchandising team and lead the development and execution of sales and marketing plans to build and drive the automotive business.
- Develops and implements approved strategic commercial business plan, focused on non-household opportunities.
- Collaborates with all stakeholders, regional and local, to develop and source a relevant line of products and solutions to meet the needs of the commercial sector.
- Manage the Bid process on an opportunistic basis by Collecting, responding to, collaborating, sourcing and tacking bids through to closure.
- Develops and manages sales plans to ensure the achievement of portfolio goals/targets.
- Sets product KPIs and metrics with plans to monitor and manage performance
- Develops the sales and operations processes (from sales through to after-sales support) to support the automotive portfolio and works with business leaders to implement and maintain.
- Actively grows the credit portfolio for the automotive and the target commercial segment
- Aligns the business operations with customer’s needs to ensure that the highest standards of service are established and executed in alignment with the Company’s Standards.
- Actively pursues business opportunities ncluding the identification of new products and supplier channels to ensure appropriate solutions.
- Has an active Customer Call Plan with appropriate Time and Territory Management to achieve activity and revenue goals.
- Conducts regular visits to relevant locations including competitors to gain first-hand information on challenges and opportunities.
- Identifies and addresses training needs on product knowledge and effective selling techniques to achieve business objectives/targets.
