As a security guard, you’re responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of individuals, property, and assets by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, identifying potential risks, and responding to security threats or emergencies.

• High school diploma, or CXC.
• Proven work experience as a security guard or a related field is an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures.
• Ability to operate surveillance systems and security equipment.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond to emergencies effectively.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond to incidents.

• Perform regular patrols of designated areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor surveillance equipment (CCTV) and inspect buildings, equipment, and access points.
• Control access to premises by verifying credentials, checking identification, and permitting or denying entry as necessary.
• Assist visitors by providing information or directions and maintaining a welcoming environment.
