SECURITY OFFICERS – EMPAG Incorporated

EMPAG Inc. is an accommodation service entity that provides a home away from home for our guests. We welcome applications for the Security Officer positions from persons who are interested in becoming a member of a professional hospitality team, and who will function in the role of providing a safe, secure and comfortable environment.

• Decision making skills, security officers will often need to be able to make on the spot decisions. Some of the decisions could save lives.
• Interpersonal skills,  security officers will work with members of the public. Importantly, tourism is a huge industry and our security must work to ensure the reputation of the business remains high
• The ability to remain calm under pressure,  security officers will be faced with unforeseen and unpredictable circumstances
• Organization skills are essential as security officers must make sure that they complete all scheduled and routine tasks on time
• Communication skills, security officers will need to communicate with staff and guests

Experience and skills in a related field will be an asset.

• Provide a welcoming environment and provide needed services for guests;
• Investigate incidents and create reports by recording observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities;
• Have a professional appearance and demeanor;
• Perform a variety of security checks and follow post orders as directed by the hotel;
• Communicate effectively with guests while maintaining excellent hospitality and interpersonal skills;
• Patrol guest areas for suspicious activities and unauthorized people.
