To undertake activities to ensure the protection and preservation of the environment in compliance with regulations and laws with focus on water quality and hazardous waste management.

Requirements

Qualifications and Work Experience:

-A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry with a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience or

-A Master of Science Degree in Chemistry or Marine and Freshwater Resources Management or related studies in water management plus three (3) years relevant experience.

 

Competencies:

–  Skilled in research and data analytics.

–  Adaptability.

–  Good written and oral communication skills.

–  Digital literacy.

–  Practical experience in environmental monitoring.

–  Strong critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

1.       Coordinate environmental monitoring program.

2.       Engage in field work and provide scientifically sound data and research in relation to emissions and pollution.

3.       Prepare reports on findings, conclusions, and recommendations for action.

4.       Develop environmental guidelines and code of practice to prevent and reduce emissions and pollution.
