Key Responsibilities
- Administer EPC contracts in accordance with FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
- Prepare and manage contractual correspondence with the Employer, Engineer, and relevant authorities.
- Identify, evaluate, and prepare Variation Orders (VOs).
- Prepare and substantiate Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
- Prepare and negotiate additional cost claims.
- Monitor contractual risks and provide mitigation strategies.
- Perform delay analysis and maintain contractual records.
- Support dispute resolution, adjudication, arbitration, and expert claims where required.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and planning teams to collect claim evidence.
- Review payment applications, interim payment certificates, and final accounts.
- Provide contractual advice to project management throughout project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in contract administration and claims management for international EPC projects.
- Extensive knowledge of FIDIC Red Book and FIDIC Yellow Book.

- Contract Negotiation
- Experience supporting arbitration, dispute adjudication, or mediation is preferred.
- Experience with hospitals, airports, highways, bridges, power plants, or other infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and report-writing skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Chartered Engineer, MRICS, PMP, or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience working with Chinese EPC contractors or international consulting engineers.
- Experience in the Caribbean, Latin America, or other overseas projects.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 scheduling and delay analysis methodologies.
- Knowledge of NEC, ICC, or other international contract forms is an advantage.
