SHORE CAPTAIN – Jags Aviation Inc

We are seeking an experienced Shore Captain to lead a crew and ensure the safe and efficient operation of our vessels. The Boat Captain will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the vessel’s operations, including navigation, safety, maintenance, and crew management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for boating, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience in marine transportation.

Minimum of five years of experience as a Shore Captain or similar role.

1. Operate and navigate the vessel safely and efficiently.
2. Maintain a high level of safety for passengers and crew at all times.
3. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
4. Manage the vessel’s crew, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
5. Oversee maintenance and repairs of the vessel, including arranging for necessary repairs and ordering supplies and materials.
6. Communicate effectively with passengers and crew.
7. Maintain logs and other records as required by law.
