SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER – Guyana Industrial Minerals Inc.

Guyana Industrial Minerals Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Manager who will oversee and manage all activities involved in the identification and acquisition of inputs and the production and distribution of the company’s products to maximise efficiency.

The Supply Chain Manager will provide support to, and mentor site and office- based staff involved in the procurement, logistics and warehousing functions.

KEY DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Conduct ongoing market research to understand the competitive landscape for the goods and services that are required by the company
• Help manage costs and cashflow through pricing, term improvement, payment options and freight optimisation
• Build and maintain internal and external key stakeholder relationships
• Establish performance metrics for measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of the supply chain
• Analyse production schedules, shipping schedules and coordinate statutory inspections and agency payments to ensure alignment with sales forecast
• Help to develop and maintain detailed MRO and camp provision inventories and ensure adequate quantities are held at key locations across the business to optimise costs and drive profitability in the business
• Analyse current processes and procedures and suggest improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company

REQUIRED

• A minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience.
• Highly motivated and organised with attention to detail.
• High ethical standards.
• Must be able to create positive synergy within the department and with other departments.
• Proficient in Office 365.
• Proficient with Pronto or similar ERP system.
• Ability to make good strategic decisions on the spot.
