The Ministry of Finance is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons to fill vacancies for
Systems Analysts
The successful candidates will be responsible for advising on software/ hardware requirements and procurement; setting up ano configuring Server and maintaining connectivity; developing and maintaining internal and external standard operating procedures and system support procedures; developing and maintaining intranet and websites; developing and testing disaster recovery strategies for all critical systems; developing and maintaining LAN and WAN operations; providing remote access for line agencies as required; implementing backup and security procedures for maintaining a high standard of database and equipment security’ and integrity; developing software to enhance business productivity; ensuring that all users of systems continually receive adequate training and support; ensuring that all documented support procedures are carried out; discussing all development related issues with the Head of the Information Communication Tecnnology Unit (ICTU); and performing any other related duties for the smooth functioning of the Ministry’ of Finance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Suitable candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology’ from a recognized university.
- Relevant experience would be an asset.
