Key Responsibilities
- – Operation:
- · Operate telehandlers to lift, move, and place materials at construction sites, warehouses, and other work areas.
- · Manoeuvre the telehandler to the required location and position it safely for operation.
- · Control the boom, forks, and other attachments to load and unload materials.
- – Safety and Compliance:
- · Conduct pre-operation checks to ensure the telehandler is in safe working condition.
- · Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies regarding the operation of telehandlers.
- · Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- · Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- – Maintenance and Inspection:
- · Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the equipment.
- · Ensure that the equipment is clean and properly secure when not in use.
- – Communication and Coordination:
- · Communicate effectively with ground crew and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
