VISA & IMMIGRATION ASSISTANT – Leader Engineering Guyana Inc

The Visa and Immigration Assistant will assist in providing support to the Visa and Immigration Section to ensure that all permits such as permission to land, visa, work permits, etc. Involve the preparation and submission of documents, and follow-ups to ensure that all permits are in place for the timely execution of operations. Also interacting and interfacing with different government/private agencies.

 

• A diploma in Social Science will be an asset.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Immigration and Administrative field
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•  Ability to work with minimal instructions.
• Excellent organisational skills
• Working knowledge of email communication
• Great interpersonal communication skills
• Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
• continuous improvement mindset to pursue opportunities to enhance the team’s management of the immigration processes.

 

·         Will assist with all Visa and Immigration processes for Clients and Contractors.

·         Uplifting and dropping off applications at various agencies.

·         Preparation and filing of all TIN & NIS registrations.

·         Preparation and filing for Work Permit Compliances at NIS and GRA

·         Assist and coordinate with clients and contractors for endorsing passports/logistics.

·         Filing for International driver’s license for clients

·         Informing clients and contractors of queries and providing efficient feedback

·         Provide weekly updates to the manager on the status of permit applications and other immigration issues.

·         Assist with meet and greet services at the Airport/Heliport/Hotels/Restaurant.

·         Record keeping, both hard and softcopy of the client’s and contractor’s documents.

·         Any other related duties assigned.
