LAUNDRY STAFF –

We are seeking dedicated Laundry Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laundry equipment, and ensuring proper cleaning and maintenance of linens, uniforms, and other textiles. This role is essential to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in laundry services or housekeeping is a plus but not required.
• Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and effectively.
  • Basic understanding of fabric care and laundry processes.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy items and perform repetitive tasks; comfortable standing for long periods.

• Laundry Operations: Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items including linens, uniforms, and other textiles according to established procedures.
• Equipment Management: Operate and maintain laundry machines and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order; report any malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Quality Control: Inspect laundry items for stains, damage, or wear; perform necessary treatments and repairs as needed.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies, including detergents and fabric softeners, and inform the supervisor when reordering is necessary.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols when using cleaning chemicals and operating machinery.
• Sanitation Standards: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of laundry services provided, including quantities processed and any special instructions or requests.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure timely and efficient laundry services.
