Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for office visitors and handle incoming telephone calls and emails in a professional manner.
- Draft, format, and edit correspondence, reports, and meeting minutes.
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements for senior management.
- Support the Business with record-keeping related to inventory and sales.
- Maintain an organized filing system for all invoices, receipts, and financial correspondence.
- Assist with the onboarding and orientation of new employees
- Maintain and update employee records, leave schedules, and attendance registers.
- Handle employee correspondence and HR administrative tasks as directed by management.
- Maintain records of safety incidents, near-misses, and corrective actions.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of HSSE documentation and notices.
- Adhere to all Company policies, financial regulations, and the laws of Guyana.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive financial, HR, and operational data and company trade secrets.
Requirements
- Education : Minimum of five (5) CXC/CSEC subjects, including Mathematics and English A.
- Experience : At least 2 years of experience in an administrative, account or HR support role.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
