Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment- aid in the shortlisting of candidates for vacant positions and arrange interviews with the relevant managers.
- New Employment- Collect all relevant documents from new hires, assist new hires in filling out application for NIS and Tin if required, prepare employment contract and enter new hires into HR systems.
- Payroll- Enter new employees into our HR platform (Peoplepay), execute transfers, change of status, name changes, confirmation, salary adjustment and prepare relevant memos.
- Separation- carry the necessary procedures to remove outgoing employees off payroll.
- Insurance- process all GTM claims and request for employees and submit to GTM.
- NIS Medicals- Ensure SB1 and SB6A forms are filled out accurately and submit claims to NIS
Requirements
- Previous Human Resources experience would be an asset but not required.
- Previous work experience would be nice but not required
- 5 or more CSEC passes, inclusive of Mathematics and English.
- Must be computer literate (Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Typing)
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Pleasant but firm attitude.
