The Logistics Clerk supports the daily operations of the Marketing Department by collecting information, tracking shipments, producing reports, completing form/documents and ensuring documentation for each shipment is prepared in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving, verifying and distributing all shipping documents.
  • Updating all relevant transactions in a timely manner.
  • Following up to ensure that activities are progressing without any issues while reporting any delays to supervisor for action.
  • Liaising with Warehouse Manager on arrival and clearing of shipments to avoid demurrage charges.
  • Updating purchasing records, sales and stock reports
  • Collecting information for the preparation of weekly sales reports.
  • Assisting with inventory counts.
  • Filing and copying of documents.

Requirements

  • No less than passes in five (5) CSEC (general proficiency level) subjects including English and Mathematics.
  • Must be computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to efficiently work in a timely manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience would be an asset.
