Technical Marketing Representative- Medical Equipment

The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for sales of medical equipment and consumables to a diverse market which include hospitals, medical centers and private medical practices.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Establishes business relationships with current and prospective clients
• Market the company’s line of products to clients resulting in increased sales targets
• Makes telephone calls, visit current and prospective clients
• Negotiates with clients and finalize sales
• Prepares proposals, agreements , sales reports and presentations for management and clients
• Apply product knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints
• Keeps management informed by submitting daily activity sheets

Requirements:

• Tertiary level qualification in the field of Medical /Health or Sciences field
• Certification and specialized training as a Nursing professional, Radiology or MRI technologists or Operating theatre technician will be an asset
• Experience in sales and marketing of medical equipment will be a definite asset
• A minimum of two (2) yearssales experience in medical equipment and consumables field
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must have a good working vehicle and a valid driver’s licence. — ,

Clinical Laboratory Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing, developing and maintaining contact with Clinical Laboratories to effect sales for clinical equipment and consumables.

Key responsibilities include:

• Presents the company’s line of clinical laboratory equipment to clients with the aim of negotiating to effect sales and close deals
• To make calls and/or visits and to make presentations to existing and potential customers
• To develop clear and effective written proposals and quotations for prospective clients.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor Degree or Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, or a combination of training and experience in a similar position
• A minimum of five (5) years’working experience in a clinical laboratory
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Has a valid Driver’s Permit and owns a good working vehicle
