Key Responsibilities
- Supports accounting operations by filing documents, reconciling statements and maintaining data within the financial/accounting system
- Reconcile GL accounts in a timely manner
- Posting financial transactions and preparing payments
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
- Prepare debtor invoices and aging reports
- Process creditor invoices and prepare aging reports
- Prepare information for VAT filing
- Prepare payroll calculations and payments
- Maintain fixed asset register and calculate depreciation schedules
- Reconcile related party transactions on monthly basis and prepare settlements
- Assist during compilation and audit of financial statements
- Assist with Monthly finance reports ( retrieving data from quick books and updating existing table Formats
- Assist manager with any other accounting related functions
Requirements
- Work experience in Accounting & Currently pursuing accounting education/training ( CAT or ACCA) or similar
- Experience with spreadsheets and financial reports ( Ms Excel skills)
- Experience with accounting software QuickBooks ( would be an asset)
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Availability both full time and Part time possible
