WAREHOUSE CLERK – Tristar Incorporated

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to manage and control spare parts inventory used to support the company’s mobile equipment, motor vehicles, rigging equipment and other operational assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, tracking, and reconciling spares while ensuring that parts are available when required for maintenance, repairs, and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify spare parts, consumables, tools, and materials against purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, and supplier documentation.
  • Record all receipts, issues, returns, transfers, and adjustments accurately in the inventory system, spreadsheet, or stock control records.
  • Issue spare parts to maintenance personnel, mechanics, operators, and authorized employees in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate stock records for spares used on mobile equipment, motor vehicles, workshop repairs, and other company assets.
  • Organize and label bins, shelves, racks, and storage areas to ensure parts can be located quickly and safely.
  • Monitor stock levels of critical spares and notify the supervisor or purchasing team when items reach reorder levels.
  • Assist with cycle counts, stock checks, inventory reconciliations, and investigations of missing, obsolete, damaged, or slow-moving items.
  • Maintain proper documentation for parts issued to work orders, equipment numbers, vehicle numbers, departments, or cost centers.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, operations, purchasing, suppliers, and delivery personnel to resolve parts availability, delivery, or discrepancy issues.
  • Keep the spares warehouse clean, secure, organized, and compliant with health, safety, housekeeping, and inventory control standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a spares warehouse, parts store, stockroom, workshop, maintenance, fleet, logistics, shipping, or receiving role is an asset.
